The luxury fake OMEGA Speedmaster Professional famously passed all the NASA tests, was certified for space flight, and made it all the way to the Moon. It’s a story that’s been written about ad nauseum. The enduring design of this manual-wind chronograph certainly gets a boost in popularity from its history spent away from terra firma, but to go nearly unchanged since the Moon landing has more to do with how good it looked to begin with.
A highly legible black dial with white markers and hands, surrounded by a black tachymeter bezel, made for a clean design that did a much better job of being an easy-reading tool copy watch than any of its contemporaries. The twisted lugs and asymmetrical case that acted as a crown guard gave a distinct platform for Swiss made replica OMEGA to launch a thousand versions of the Speedmaster – and launch a thousand versions they did.
From anniversaries celebrated, to racing, to different sides of the Moon, to the Olympics, and everywhere in between – a Speedmaster has been made for it. AAA quality fake OMEGA has always kept the original Moonwatch in mind when designing new variants, so whichever of the many versions of the Speedmaster you prefer, it’ll always tie back to the one that first landed on the Moon.
From a distance, this looks like your standard cheap fake Omega Speedmaster Professional, but looks can be deceiving. The case shape and layout of the dial are what you would expect, and so is the handset. It’s the text that will be the first giveaway, here. The Swiss movement replica OMEGA logo is the vintage logo that would have been found on the original 1957 Speedmaster, and down below the Speedmaster script is xxxx/1957, denoting what number of the 1,957 of this limited edition a particular watch is. The black dial is also a much deeper black than you would find on the standard painted dial, instead, the dial is a black enamel – a rare material for Swiss super clone OMEGA. Inside, things are different, as well: Normally, the movement would have been an 1861, but this edition has a Co-Axial 3201. This is notable for two reasons, the first is that until recently, this was one of the few ways to get a Co-Axial Omega Speedmaster replica for sale, and the second is that this is a vertical clutch column wheel based on the F. Piguet 1180. For a deeper dive into this watch check out this video, featuring yours truly.
